Robert Mosbacher Jr.
Robert Adam Mosbacher Jr. (born May 29, 1951) is an American businessman, founder of BizCorps, and the former head of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), a U.S. government agency established to promote economic development by working with the private sector. Nominated by U.S. President George W. Bush, Mosbacher was sworn in as the ninth president and chief executive officer of OPIC in October 2005. He has largely been credited with being the leading voice behind the Build Act, which has helped to reform US development finance.
