Ruben Sevak Museum

Ruben Sevak Museum (Armenian: Ռուբեն Սևակ թանգարան) is an art museum located in Vagharshapat, Armenia. Opened on 10 September 2013, the museum is housed in the Ghazarapat building of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, adjacent to the Mother Cathedral. Ghazarapat itself is an 8th-century building previously used as a monastic residence. The first floor has been renovated through the efforts of the French-Armenian benefactor Hovhannes Chilingirian; who is a nephew of the Armenian poet Ruben Sevak.
