Singaporean nationality law is regulated by Part X of and the Third Schedule to the Constitution of Singapore. The Constitution determines who is, or is eligible to be, a citizen of Singapore. The Constitution replaced the previous Singapore Citizenship Ordinance first introduced in 1957.
