South Australian Tattersalls Club
The South Australian Tattersalls Club was founded as Tattersall's Club in Adelaide'in 1879, with the change of name occurring with its new incarnation in 1888, after the original club had folded in 1886. It was a gentlemen's club, whose membership was chiefly composed of men who enjoyed gambling on horse races.
