Sree Narayanaguru Open University
Sreenarayanaguru Open University is an UGC approved open university in Kerala established by the Kerala Government. The University consisting of Regional Centres and Study Centres have its territorial limits across the whole state of Kerala. With the establishment of the University, it became the only university in Kerala to offer distance education courses and all the distance education courses then being offered by the four universities in Kerala, namely, Kerala University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Calicut University and Kannur University came under the administrative control and purview of the new University. The University has been named after Sree Narayana Guru and has its headquarters at Kureepuzha in Kollam city.
