TRAINOSE class 120

TRAINOSE class 120, also known as Hellas Sprinter, is a class of electric locomotives operated by TRAINOSE. It is part of OSE's rolling stock. It is the first and the only (so far) class of electric locomotives operating in Greece. The first unit was built in 1997, while the class was put into service in 1999 as class H.561. By 2005, all units had been received. They were manufactured by Siemens and Krauss-Maffei in Germany. They feature asynchronous three-phase AC short-circuit rotor motorsfor traction, with 6793 horsepower
