"The Red-Headed League" is an episode of the Sherlock Holmes television adaptations of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories, produced by Britain's Granada Television between 1984 and 1994 and starring Jeremy Brett as the famous detective. It is based on the short story of the same title. The episode was first aired at 9:00 PM in the United Kingdom on Sunday, 22 September 1985 on ITV. It is the fifth of six episodes in the series' second season and the twelfth of the show overall.
