The case spanned 14 years, from 2005 to 2019, and resulted in the owners and executives receiving prison sentences of between to 8.5 and 9 years. The activity of the involved parties was described as "a threat to [Russia’s] economic activity" by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin.
