Tom Barrett (Michigan politician)

Thomas M. Barrett (born April 30, 1981) is a Republican member of the Michigan Senate who was elected in 2018 to the 24th district. Previously he served in the Michigan House of Representatives, where he was elected in 2014 by defeating the incumbent, Democrat Theresa Abed. Prior to his election to the House, Barrett served as a liaison from the Michigan Department of Treasury to the Governor's office.
