Tove is a 2020 Finnish biographical film of Swedo-Finnish author and illustrator Tove Jansson, creator of the Moomins, played by Alma Pöysti. The film was written by Eeva Putro, and directed by Zaida Bergroth. The film's budget was €3.4 million, which makes it the second most expensive film in Finland after the 2017 version of The Unknown Soldier. It was released to critical acclaim, and was selected as the Finnish entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards, but was not nominated.
