U-Bahn Line D (Frankfurt U-Bahn)
The U-Bahn Line D is one of the basic routes in the Frankfurt U-Bahn network, according to the original concept in the 1960s. So far, only two short sections have been realised. The first stretch, Hauptbahnhof and Bockenheimer Warte is opened in 2001 (under U4) as part of the Line B. Another separate section between Ginnheim and Heddernheimer highway was built in 1968 to 1978 as one of the three outer branches of the A-line, but in the final stage is a part of the D-track represent.
