USS Glendoveer (SP-292)

The U.S. Navy purchased her from her owner, Ernest L. Jahncke, on 3 May 1917 for World War I service as a patrol vessel. She was commissioned on 9 May 1917 as USS Glendoveer (SP-292) with Boatswain Jacob Hansen, USNRF, in command.
