It was better known in the South Florida and Treasure Coast areas as "Sugar 900," named after the surrounding sugar cane industry in the Belle Glade and Pahokee area. The station is licensed to serve 18 counties across South Florida in the United States, and the Caribbean. The station is currently owned by Sylna Leger-Brazile, through licensee Sugar Broadcasting, Inc.
