Waḥy (Arabic: وَحْي, IPA: [waħj]; plural وُحِيّ wuḥiyy, IPA: [wuħijj]; also spelled wahi) is the Arabic word for revelation. In Islamic belief, revelations are God's Word delivered by his chosen individuals – known as Messenger prophets – to mankind.
