Winti is an Afro-Surinamese traditional religion that originated in South America and developed in the Dutch Empire. It is a syncretization of the religious beliefs and practices of Akan and Fon slaves (with entities such as Leba or Legba, Loko and Aisa or Ayizan) with Christianity.
