Wolfgang Abel and Marco Furlan

Wolfgang Abel (born 25 March 1959, in Düsseldorf) and Marco Furlan (born 16 January 1960, in Padua) were a German-Italian serial killer duo who were arrested for a series of murders in Italy, the Netherlands and Germany between 1977 and 1984. They claimed innocence, saying they were scapegoats for a police force that could not find the real criminals.
