Bahasa Wu

Wu (simplified Chinese: 吴; traditional Chinese: 吳; pinyin: Wú; Wu: [ŋŋ̍]) is a group of linguistically similar and historically related Sinitic languages spoken primarily in Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, the southern half of Jiangsu Province and surrounding areas. Wu Chinese, along with Min, is also of great significance to historical linguists due to their retention of many ancient features. These two languages have proven pivotal in determining the phonetic history of the Chinese languages.
