Yao Zhongmin

Yao Zhongmin (Chinese: 姚中民; pinyin: Yáo Zhōngmín; born June 1952) is a Chinese economist who served as chairman of the board of supervisors at China Development Bank (CDB) from 2008 to 2013. He had also served as deputy chief of the Communist Party of China (CPC) committee at the CDB and vice governor of the bank. In June 2016 he was put under investigation for alleged "serious violations of discipline" by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI). He was soon removed from membership of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. In September 2016 he had been expelled from the Communist Party of China and removed from public office.
