Zdeňka Veřmiřovská

Zdeňka Veřmiřovská (Czech pronunciation: [ˈzdɛɲka ˈvɛr̝mɪr̝ofskaː]) (June 27, 1913, Kopřivnice, Moravia – May 13, 1997) was a Czechoslovak/Czech gymnast who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics and in the 1948 Summer Olympics. She was born in Kopřivnice and died in Prague. She achieved what was probably her greatest individual accolade in her competitive career at the 1938 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships where she won Silver medals in both the All-Around and Floor Exercise.
