2005–06 S.S. Lazio season
The 2005-2006 season of Italian football club S.S. Lazio continued the relative success the club had been enjoying for the past two years due to the actions of Delio Rossi as manager and Tommaso Rocchi's success as a player. However, Lazio got involved in the Italian football scandal, where president Claudio Lotito was found guilty for trying to persuade referees to judge in Lazio's favour, following a few decisions Lotito found unfair. Initially, Lazio was thrown out of Serie A along with Fiorentina and Juventus, but unlike Juventus, both clubs were able to win an appeal to stay in Serie A, which also meant Lotito's five-year ban from football was terminated.
