2011 Alamo Bowl
The 2011 Valero Alamo Bowl, the 19th edition of the game, was a post-season American college football bowl game, held on December 29, 2011 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas as part of the 2011–12 NCAA Bowl season. The game, which was telecast at 8:00 p.m. CT on ESPN, featured the Baylor Bears, led by Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III, from the Big 12 Conference versus the Washington Huskies from the Pac-12 Conference. With a total combined score of 123 points, the game is currently the highest-scoring regulation bowl game in college football history.
