The 2014 UAB Blazers football team represented the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season as a member of the East Division of Conference USA (C-USA). They were led by first year head coach Bill Clark and played their home games at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. Despite being bowl eligible, UAB was not invited to a bowl game. On June 1, 2015, Watts announced they were beginning the process to reinstate football, and would begin play as early as the 2016 season. It will be reinstated in 2017.
