Al-Thuqbah

Al-Thuqbah (Arabic: الثقبة‎‎, pronounced ath-Thugba) is a district of the Dammam-Khobar metropolitan area in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. Though only separated from al-Khobar proper by Dhahran Street, Al-Thuqbah constitutes a separate municipality with a population of 192,000 (2004). Together with the nearby municipality of Dhahran, the municipalities of al-Thuqbah and al-Khobar constitute the al-Khobar Governorate.
