Ali Salami (Persian: علی سلامی‎‎) (b. 1968 in Tehran) is an Iranian writer, lexicographer, literary translator, Human Rights Investigator and Assistant Professor of English Literature and Translation Studies at the University of Tehran. His research is largely focused on discourse analysis in the fields of education, politics, literature, gender, human rights, cultural studies and social theories. An internationally published author, Salami investigates controversially unexplored areas in his writings.
