American Airlines Flight 1502 was a crew training flight from New York International (Idlewild) Airport (now John F. Kennedy International Airport). On 28 January 1961 the aircraft crashed into the ocean 5 miles (8.0 km) off Montauk Point, New York, all six crew on-board were killed.
