Amos Adams House

The Amos Adams House is a historic house at 37 Park Avenue, in the village of Newton Corner, in Newton, Massachusetts. The  2 1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1888, and is an excellent local example of Queen Anne styling. It has asymmetrical massing typical of the style, as well as a variety of projecting gables and porches, an octagonal tower, and tall paneled-brick chimneys. Amos Adams was a Boston businessman, who built the house on land subdivided from the former estate of Albert Brackett. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 4, 1986.
