Amos Flagg House
The Amos Flagg House is a historic colonial house at 246 Burncoat Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The 1 1/2 story timber frame house was built c. 1748, and is one of the city's rare surviving 18th century buildings. The Cape style house has an asymmetrical facade, four bays wide, with a large central chimney. Its front door is slightly recessed, with a four-pane transom window above. The house is clapboarded, with simple exterior trim. The house was probably built by Alan Flagg, father to Amos Flagg, who owned the house early in the 19th century.
