The town of Antler reached its peak population in 1910 at 342 residents, but a hundred years later it had dwindled to just 27. In 2015, Craig Cobb announced plans to purchase vacant home sites in Antler and establish a white supremecist community. The remaining residents of Antler have worked to purchase all the vacant property in advance of Cobb in an effort to thwart his plans.
