Apache Youth Ministries (AYM) is a non-profit organization that is located in Whiteriver, Arizona. Whiteriver is a community where the White Mountain Apache Tribe resides. The Apache Youth Ministry is a ministry focused on serving the needs of the youth. In 1891 the Native American reservation was established. Today the tribe has about 15,500 people living in a 1,600,000-acre (6,500 km2) region. More than half of the population of the tribe is made up of people under the age of twenty-five, making this area a place where reaching out to the youth in the reservation would be beneficial.
