Arena Cove Historic District

Arena Cove Historic District is a historic district including 10 contributing buildings and three contributing structures in a small valley opening to the Pacific Ocean next to the neck of Point Arena, down Port Road from the city of Point Arena, California, in Mendocino County, California. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. It has been devastated occasionally by tidal waves that are magnified by funneling coastal and off-shore geography. A wharf or short pier projects into the ocean; local fishermen land there. The NRHP-listed area is 20 acres (8.1 ha).
