The Armenian Evangelical Martyrs' Church (Nahadagatz) is located in Soulemaniye quarter, Aleppo, Syria. The origin of the church goes back to 1865, Aintab, Turkey, where the first Armenian Evangelical - Kayajik church with the full content of its members was split into two groups and one group moved into Hayik quarter of the city and established a second church there. The first pastor of the church was Rev. Kara Krikor Haroutyounian, who has served the church until his death in 1907. Rev. Manaseh Papazian has also served as associate pastor from 1892–1907 followed by Rev. Bedros Topalian (1907–1912). During these years, the church had run an elementary and an intermediate school called Niziblian School (founded by the benevolent Mr. Adoor Niziblian). Then several pastors took over the lead
