Arne Vesterlid
Arne Vesterlid (6 September 1893 – 30 October 1962) was a Norwegian architect. He was born in Tromsø to headmaster Albert Fredrik Johan Vesterlid and Kristine Marie Espenes. He graduated from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH) in 1918. He lectured at NTH from 1919 to 1931, and then at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, where he was appointed rector from 1956. In addition to education, Vesterlid was also running an architecture company. Among his designs are Lysholmgården, Müllers hotell and Handelsstandens hus in Trondheim, and Victoria kino in Oslo.
