Assata's Daughters

Assata's Daughters is an organization of young Black women and girls in Chicago, that protests against police violence. Assata's Daughters are part of a cluster of youthful, black activist organizations in Chicago that sprang up as part of the Black Lives Matter, admire Malcolm X's motto, "By any means necessary", and are regarded as more radical than the established black civil rights organizations. The group is named in honor of Black Panther militant Assata Shakur.
