Australian Production Car Championship

The Australian Production Car Championship was an Australian motor racing title for production cars, sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS). The championship was first contested in 1987 and from 2008 to 2015 the title was awarded to the most successful driver in the annual Australian Manufacturers' Championship series which ran on the Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships program. For 2016 the Australian Manufacturers' Championship (and thus the Australian Production Car Championship) has been replaced by the Australian Production Car Series.
