Banavara is a Town in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Arsikere taluk of Hassan district in Karnataka. Banavara is a Hobli that has many Villages with Historical importance. One of them is village, Chaluvanahalli three km(3 km) from Banavara towards Arsikere. This Village has a Hill View Place called Gavimata, It has Caves to watch, a temple and a Kalyani(sacred Lake). The National Highways NH 206 and NH 234passes through this Village. There are two huge Poultry Farms visible from this Highway.
