Banks Covered Bridge

The Banks Covered Bridge is a wooden covered bridge in Wilmington Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, United States. It spans the Neshannock Creek southeast of New Wilmington. Constructed in 1889, the bridge is a Burr arch truss built on stone foundations and supported by steel girders; it is 121 feet (37 m) long. In 1980, the bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in recognition of its historical significance, along with the McConnell's Mill bridge. * * *
