Bishop of Ludlow
The Bishop of Ludlow is an episcopal title used by a suffragan bishop of the Church of England Diocese of Hereford, which is within the Province of Canterbury, England. The See of Ludlow was created in 1981 and is the only suffragan see in the Diocese of Hereford. The bishop assists the Bishop of Hereford; since 2013 the ongoing vacancy in the See of Hereford has meant the Bishop of Ludlow is currently the acting diocesan bishop. The title takes its name after the historic market town of Ludlow in south Shropshire, with its Church of St Laurence.
