Bruce Miller (diplomat)

Bruce Miller (born 1960) is an Australian foreign diplomat who had served diplomatic posts in foreign institutions on behalf of Australia, particularly in East Asian countries such as Japan. Growing up with an interest of Japan and its culture since the age of 11, being able to speak Japanese fluently since university. In 2011, Miller was nominated to replace Murray McLean (ambassador) as Ambassador of Australia to Japan, being appointed on April 7 that year, but only arriving to Japan just after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami on August.
