C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl

The Heart of Texas Bowl is an American football bowl game in Copperas Cove, Texas that used to be only a game for teams from junior colleges that competed in the NJCAA. The bowl now features two separate games which began in 2012, one game is still played between two of the top junior colleges and then another game is played between a top NCAA Division II as well as a team from the Lone Star Conference (which is a Division II athletic conference). One Texas team from the NJCAA and one team from the Lone Star Conference are guaranteed bids to participate. This bowl game is one of only three bowl games at the NCAA Division II level, the other two being the Mineral Water Bowl and the Live United Texarkana Bowl.
