Capital Introduction
Capital Introduction is a service offered by most large brokerage firms as part of the Prime Brokerage package accessed by hedge funds that chose to prime at a particular firm. In exchange for granting the broker custody (clearing, custody and asset servicing), securities lending, and financing, the hedge fund client is granted access to Capital Introduction services, as well as risk management and consulting services.
