Chengdu Campaign

The Chengdu Campaign Chinese: 成都战役 was a campaign fought between the communists and the nationalists during the Chinese Civil War in the post World War II era and resulted in communist victory and capture of Chengdu, provincial capital of the southwestern Chinese province of Sichuan. The campaign was part of the Southwestern China Campaign.
