Chepstow Community Hospital

Chepstow Community Hospital in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales accepted its first patients on 26 February 2000 having been developed under the United Kingdom Government's Private Finance Initiative. It was officially opened on 27 October by Rt Hon Rhodri Morgan AM MP, the First Minister for Wales. The modern hospital building incorporates mementoes from the past, including the old Admiralty portico moulding from the front façade of the former Mount Pleasant Hospital, which was located on the same site.
