Chez Piggy

Chez Piggy is a restaurant in downtown Kingston, Ontario. In 2015 it was called Kingston’s best-known restaurant by the National Post. Chez Piggy was opened in 1979 by Zal Yanovsky of the 1960s pop group The Lovin' Spoonful and his partner Rose Richardson who were both avid travelers who enjoyed good food and wanted to create a restaurant reflecting those traits. Chez Piggy which has stone and wood decor, is located in a former horse stable built in 1806 and provides a menu of extensive and ethnically diverse dishes. Pan Chancho started out in 1994 as a small bakery supplying bread to Chez Piggy.
