Church Report
The Church Report is the colloquial name for a report into allegations of the abuse of extrajudicial detainees at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba, Admiral Albert T. Church III.United States Secretary of Defense appointed Church to investigate the abuse allegations on May 25, 2004. The Executive Summary was published on March 11, 2005. While the full report remains classified, a heavily redacted copy of it was obtained by the ACLU who, on February 11, 2009, published an excerpt allegedly proving illegal abuses of power had resulted in the death of several individuals.
