Cliff Blake

Clifford Douglas Blake AO is an Australian agriculturalist and educationalist who became first Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt University. Blake was born in Muswellbrook, New South Wales in 1937. He studied at the University of Sydney and at Rothamsted Experimental Station in England, where he earned a PhD from the University of London. He was elected a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and awarded the Farrer Memorial Medal in 1996 for his contributions to agricultural science.
