Cold nodule

Cold nodule is a scintigraphic evidence (hypo functional district / nodes) on the thyroid. The term "cold nodule" refers take the reduced or non-existent capacity of the territory, radioactive ("hot") iodine or technetium. Cold nodes produce little or no hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). To put it differently, cold node is a part of thyroid nodule, not representing in scintigraphy.
