Commitment for Life is the world development programme of the United Reformed Church in partnership with Christian Aid and the World Development Movement to work for a fairer world and for peace with justice. Funds are targeted at projects in four geographic regions: Bangladesh, Central America, Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory and Zimbabwe. URC churches are encouraged to raise donations, which currently (March 2014) raise more than a half million pounds each year.
