Denver was laid out in 1872 when the Eel River Railroad was extended to that point. The town was named after Denver, Colorado. Denver is located at 40°51′55″N 86°4′40″W / 40.86528°N 86.07778°W (40.865277, -86.077746). According to the 2010 census, Denver has a total area of 3.61 square miles (9.35 km2), all land. Denver is served by North Miami Schools.
