Dominica at the 2012 Summer Olympics

Dominica competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom from July 27 to August 12, 2012. This was the nation's fifth appearance at the Olympics. Two track athletes were selected to the team, including the first female athlete to compete in the Olympic games, after an eight-year absence. The other track athlete Erison Hurtault competed at his second consecutive Olympic games, and was appointed by the Dominica Olympic Committee to be the nation's flag bearer at the opening ceremonies. Dominica, however, has yet to win its first Olympic medal; neither of these athletes passed the first round of their respective events.
