Ekstraliga (women's football)

The Ekstraliga (Polish for Extra League) is the top level women's football league of Poland. The women's league startet out to play a champion in 1979-80. The first title holder was Czarni Sosnowiec in 1980. In 2005 the league was renamed Ekstraliga Kobiet. The winner of the league qualifies for the UEFA Women's Champions League. The second highest league is 1.)Liga =1st Division(Level:2).
